Why we make in batches

Small batches.
More considered making.

We choose to make in considered runs, rather than produce endlessly for stock. Your interest helps us plan around demand, with the aim of avoiding unnecessary overproduction.

01
Demand before excess.
The waitlist helps us understand which objects people want, before we decide how many to make.
02
Plan the process.
Working in batches gives us an opportunity to group similar parts and finishes and plan material use together.
03
Learn between runs.
Each run gives us room to review quality and refine the next. A more considered approach to making, not a race to make more.
